Adara Pakkaus Oy aims to be the most profitable Finnish company in the corrugated cardboard industry. We design, manufacture and supply high-quality corrugated cardboard products that meet our customers\u2019 needs. We work flexibly, efficiently and responsibly with regard to our industry\u2019s requirements. We focus on our core business by investing in account management, the development of the production process and a motivated workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are committed to complying with the laws, regulations and agreements that direct our operations. Our operations are based on continuous improvement in cooperation with our customers, suppliers, partners and employees. Environmental responsibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We design our packaging solutions out of environmentally friendly materials by using the right amount of material to achieve the best performance. The main purposes of packaging involve protecting the product from its environment, protect the environment from the product\u2019s impact, facilitate goods processing and provide information. We keep these elements in mind in each stage of the design and production process. Our production department is constantly working to improve things such as energy efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Social responsibility<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our skilled and motivated personnel form the foundation of our operations. Monitoring the selected social indicators for our staff provides an opportunity to see how individual work impacts the company\u2019s results, strengthens the sense of inclusion, and encourages collective responsibility. These key indicators are visible to all employees on our company intranet, increasing transparency and shared understanding of our sustainability goals. The goal of our Sustainability Program is to promote responsibility and sustainable development across all areas of our business. The program includes several concrete actions through which we aim to contribute positively to the environment, our employees, and our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability report<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 2024 report has been prepared in accordance with the VSME reporting standard. This framework is designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling transparent and comparable reporting of our sustainability efforts without the complexity of reporting obligations intended for large corporations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal is to reduce energy consumption and thus reduce the emissions from our operations. Key Flag Symbol<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Our corrugated cardboard boxes have received the Finnish Key Flag Symbol. The Key Flag Symbol is a label awarded by the Association for Finnish Work, which signals that the product in question was made in Finland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ecovadis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

EcoVadis has awarded Adara with a bronze-level certification for our work on sustainability. EcoVadis assesses the sustainability of companies in four areas: the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
