VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY (VMI) – REPLENISHMENT OF ORDERS AUTOMATICALLY FOR THE CUSTOMER’S WAREHOUSE

In VMI, we deliver replenishment orders automatically to the customer’s packaging warehouse on the basis of the stock balance and use forecasts. The customer records products that have been put in use in their own system in real time.

ADVANCE SHIPPING NOTICE (ASN) – INFORMATION QUICKLY TO THE CUSTOMER’S SYSTEM

  • An electronic bill of freight (dispatch list) from Adara’s system to the customer’s system
  • Advance notice of an incoming load
  • The bill of freight shows the number as a barcode that can be utilised in reception of goods
  • Reception is accelerated
  • Even the pallet-specific SSCC barcode can be included in the ASN message – and of course in the pallet ticket too
  • Adoption of ASN requires system capabilities/a small project
